Munched on these Cherries, Mulberries and some Moringa leaves and seeds. There were Eggplant, Squash, Banana, Oregano, Clover, Passion Fruit, Bamboo, lovely Trees and Flowers and Solar Panel lights and more.
Lots of love goes into keeping this place a feasting meditation for body, mind, emotions and spirit.
Many thanks to the creators of this lovely place.
Arriving at the same time as the rain made it seem like being in an Amazon Rainforest. It was lovely to feel the cooling wetness on my body and was only a short drive and not a plane ride away.
It was great fun sharing the space with a friend who's a regular Food Forester😊

Ponder these words from
". . .the jewel of surrender presupposes that there is a divine force at work in our lives. Ultimately this guideline invites us to surrender out egos, open our hearts and accept the higher purpose of our being.
As we learn to stop fighting life, we can begin to act skillfully.
Surrender asks us to be strong enough to engage each moment with integrity while being soft enough to flow with the current of life.
Ishvara Pranidhana is the surrender of the ego to a higher purpose. As the ego stops fighting to be number one, life begins to nourish and feed us in amazing ways.
Ultimately there is nothing I can tell you
about surrender except
Having nothing and wanting nothing;
Not keeping score,
Not trying to be richer,
Not being afraid of losing;
Not being particularly interested
in our own personalities;
Choosing to be happy,
no matter what happens to us.
These are some of the clues.
The rest we learn with practice and grace.”
I sat upon these rocks a week or so ago looking onto the Strait of George and the Island in front of me pondering my existence, connecting with nature and with my personal interpretation of Divinty.
When I do this type of reflective meditation,
I silently ask myself,
"who or what is the 'Me'
'Bring me a higher love'?"
Repeatedly my inner reply goes something like,
"of the possible
8 billions interpretations of Divinity I own one of the ideas and ponderings of who, and what God is."
It brings me back to one of my favorite
21st Century thoughts,
what God is doing"
I can then surrender and leave the bigger questions alone, going forwatd in my life to live a happy, healthy, peaceful experience.
So Be It, and So It Is...
